The Optics and Quantum Information Group (GOIQ) studies fundamental problems of optics and quantum information and their application in nanostructured solid-state systems and quantum circuits. In particular, methods for characterizing, transmitting, storing, and retrieving information contained in quantum states are theoretically investigated.
